Student Membership - $42.40
Any person actively attending a full-time recreation or leisure program in a post secondary institution shall be granted a student membership. Such a member carries no voting privileges and may not hold an executive position.
Individual Membership - $94.50
Shall be granted to such individuals who are interested in the purpose of the Association or who are employed by or may represent non-profit boards, commissions, facilities, agencies or councils and who provide recreational services or facilities operations for the public or private sector. Independent associations do not qualify for individual membership status. Such a member is eligible to vote.
Associate Membership - $283.50
Any person or company actively engaged in a business relating to recreation facilities shall be granted an Associate membership. Such a member carries no voting privileges, with the exception of the elected representatives of the Associates on the executive board. Check out our Associates page for more information.
Life Membership
Shall be granted in exceptional cases to a worthy person in appreciation of outstanding contribution made to the Association. Recommended by the executive and passed by the general membership either at the annual conference or by a proxy vote, by a 75% majority. Such a member is eligible to vote.
Honourary Membership
Shall be granted in exceptional cases to a worthy person outside the Association. Recommended by the executive and passed by the general membership either at the annual conference or by a proxy vote, by a 75% majority. Such a membership shall be for a period of one year only and is eligible to vote.

The RFABC wants you to be on top of zone happenings and will make every effort to keep you informed as to where and when you will be meeting in the near future. LOG BOOKS
Log books are now available through the office. If your department is in need of log books, the RFABC is the place to order them. There are log books for arenas, swimming pools, fire protection equipment, fire extinguishers, boiler plants, elevating devices, caretakers, fork lift trucks and halocarbons. Members are entitled to a discount only when ordering through the RFABC office. Call us at 250-498-0557 or email us at mbryson@rfabc.com to discuss your needs and to place your order.
